Position Overview

Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a dedicated, Board-Certified (or Board-Eligible) Family Medicine Physician to join our Kingsland clinic. This is an exciting opportunity for a committed physician to provide high-quality care to a diverse patient population while working within an integrated healthcare system that prioritizes excellence, innovation, and collaboration.

About the Role

We are looking for a physician who excels in teamwork, values high-quality patient outcomes, and has a passion for continuing education and collaboration within a multidisciplinary care team. Optional responsibilities may include coverage in the Newborn Nursery, providing routine evaluation and care for healthy newborns.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive care for patients of all ages, managing chronic and acute conditions.
• Optionally participate in Newborn Nursery coverage, performing routine newborn care and assessments as needed.
• Collaborate with specialists, referring to physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care.
• Stay current with advancements in medical practice and integrate evidence-based care into daily practice.
• Document patient interactions and treatment plans in accordance with system protocols.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a patient-focused care model.

Qualifications:

• Doctorate Degree in Medicine (MD/DO).

• Licensed to practice medicine in the state of Texas by the Texas Medical Board.

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine (ABMS or AOA).
